How we came into being?
We are a group of Young Pakistanis:
Initially, we were individually trying to serve the Pakistani community
That group of people got together on project basis to work for certain causes and celebrations such as Basant and Independence days.
Then a few years back we founded a group that today, we rename as YPES.
Our objective is to foster the spirit of brotherhood amongst the youth of today.
Founded on the vision of providing a united platform for the Pakistani youth.
A platform that does the utmost to facilitate community networking amongst Pakistanis living in the UAE.
Our Objectives
We aim at building a strong community of Young Pakistani Expatriates that will help each other in following ways:
Job placements: Assisting a freshman with their first job, helping a fellow member switch jobs
Social development programs: Providing courses in Computer Skills, Resume writing, Job Search, Interview impressions and many other courses
Social Service: Lending a helping hand in times of crisis. Such as earthquake relief work and other charity
Social Gatherings: Celebrating National Days and Cultural Events to bring the community fellows closer.
Online Network: Building an online community of fellow Pakistanis that would help each other in all possible ways.
Where we are today:
On 11 August 2006, we inaugurated the new platform with the name "Young Pakistani Expatriates Society" (YPES). So, we are at a very early stage, full of energy and potential to move on in achieving our objectives.
Founding members of YPES consists of energetic Pakistani youth in UAE. Our members have been associated with many community activities in the past. Looking at the track record of our members, we are sure that YPES would soon be a success story of the region.
